Black Swan

We took these photos over a month ago, when I went to see Black Swan (which I loved!). They came out a bit grainy - but I kind of like it! I haven't had time to get out and shoot outfit photos this week because I have finally found flo in my writing and am running with it as long as it will let me! My amazing (and scrupulous) mother edited my proposal for me, which has helped me find some clarity.

 Outfit details:
Top: gift from Stella
Skirt: Thrirted
Cardigan: k-mart
Shawl: Gift
headband: Sportsgirl
Shoes: RMK
Tights: Myer
Bag: vintage - from a market in Berlin

  1. I adore this outfit. The flesh toned shoes really pop against all black - it's very reminiscent of Black Swan as well! :)

  2. Your proposal sounds way scarier than mine. I kind of whipped mine off in a weekend (not a very fun weekend, admittedly). Great pictures as usual!

  3. Wow, you look lovely! I wanted to go see that film, do you think it needs a big screen or can I wait until it's on netflix?

  7. They don't appear to be grainy to me. I like how they came out and you look very lovely!

the reason why I would like to live in the flood zone again is that every year my parents would get flooded in and were pretty much on their own island. I love how everything looks desolate and beautiful. Granted there was one year where three people died in a flood, but ultimately as very very odd as it may seem, every year it's as if people are doing spring cleaning after a flood. I think it is partly why I am not materialistic at all. . .is because everything in this world passes away and can be destroyed so easily and people put too much of their time, money, and love into those things, and I am a bit of a free spirit who doesn't put holds on my stuff. does that make sense or just makes me even crazier than I already am?? hahaha.

  8. Great photos - very dramatic, a reflection on the film? I enjoyed Black Swan as well. I think I liked it more after I had time to reflect on it and the characters, especially the mother.
